How to Install Google Gears on Ubuntu x84-64

Installing Google Gears for Firefox on Ubuntu x86-64 is a breeze thanks to James Duncan. Simply click on the following link and follow the Firefox install dialogue. I suggest you check out James’ or Niels’ sites for the latest version.

Current version on 15/07/2009 is 0.5.21.0: gears-linux-x86_64-opt-05210.xpi. Credit due to Niels Peen.
